The journey of MyCountyMushrooms began long before it had a name — in the remote forests of Siberia, where I grew up as a little girl. That’s me in the photo, holding a mushroom almost bigger than my head — one of many treasures found during long walks in the wild with my aunt and uncle. They taught me to see the forest not just as trees and trails, but as a living, generous world full of flavor, medicine, and wonder.
As I got older, mushroom hunting became my own quiet ritual — a way to stay grounded, to listen to nature, and to bring something beautiful home. A basket of mushrooms was never just food; it was peace, purpose, and pride.
When I moved to the United States, I didn’t expect this old love to come rushing back. But it did — in the quiet of the woods, in the richness of American nature, in the earthy scent of the soil. I realized I wanted to make mushrooms not just part of my life again, but part of something I could share.
That’s how MyCountyMushrooms was born — out of a lifelong passion, a deep respect for nature, and a desire to bring people closer to what’s real, healthy, and full of flavor.
And none of this would be possible without my husband, Robert. His unwavering support, steady presence, and belief in me have been with me every step of the way. Whether it’s helping at the markets, brainstorming ideas late at night, or simply being my biggest cheerleader — he is a true partner in this journey and an essential part of MyCountyMushrooms.
Today, you’ll find me at farmers markets with a table full of fresh mushrooms, Robert nearby, and a heart full of gratitude.
Thank you for being part of this story. From Siberia to here — it’s all been one long, beautiful walk through the forest.
We believe real food should be fresh, clean, and full of life. Every mushroom we bring to the farmers market is a small step toward healthier living and a stronger connection with nature. Our mission is to offer pure, eco-friendly mushrooms you can trust — grown with care, shared with heart, and always in season.
